Terms of Use
Effective date: October 22, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Jordan Coates, a sole proprietor operating as Holly, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (hello@joinholly.app).
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher, for purchases) to use Holly. The app is rated 17+.
2. The service
Holly is a shared app for two linked partners: calendar, reminders, lists, chat, a photo feed, live location sharing and optional cycle and intimacy logs. Features may change. Holly is not yet available; the waitlist does not guarantee access or a price.
3. Not medical advice
Cycle and intimacy tracking is a personal log only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and must not be used for contraception or to plan or avoid pregnancy. Ask a health professional about health questions.
4. Free plan and Holly Plus
- The free plan includes the last 30 days of history, 3 nagging reminders and 3 of each kind of list (unlimited items), plus unlimited chat, tasks and events, live location and photo censoring.
- Holly Plus is per couple: one partner's purchase unlocks Plus for both linked accounts while they are linked. If partners unlink, Plus stays with the purchaser.
- Prices (USD; the App Store and Google Play show local prices and any taxes): $9.99/month, $79.99/year, or a one-time lifetime purchase of $199.99. Lifetime means for as long as Holly is offered, not your lifetime or ours.
5. Automatic renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, and payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. We will give you notice of any price increase as required by the store and by law. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
6. Free trial
The annual plan includes a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, one per account. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your annual subscription starts and you are charged. If you cancel during the trial, you keep access until the trial ends.
7. Founding member offer
New subscribers who are among the first 1,000 couples to subscribe, within the first 90 days after launch, can get the first year of annual Holly Plus for $49.99 USD. The offer applies to the first year only and renews at the regular annual price (currently $79.99) unless cancelled. One per couple; cannot be combined with other offers; availability is counted by the store at purchase and may end without notice once the limit is reached. 8. Cancellation and refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their policies (Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play: play.google.com refund request). We cannot issue store refunds directly. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including Manitoba's Consumer Protection Act.
9. Your content
You own what you post. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it to you and your linked partner only to run Holly. You are responsible for your content and must not share illegal content, content involving minors, or anyone's intimate images without their consent. Censoring a photo hides it until tapped; it does not stop someone you share it with from viewing it.
10. Location sharing
Only share your location with someone you trust, and only with their agreement for any shared tracking. Location may be inaccurate or delayed; do not rely on Holly in an emergency. Call 911 or local emergency services.
11. Acceptable use and termination
Don't misuse Holly, use it to stalk, harass or control anyone, or try to access accounts that aren't yours. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Holly and delete your account anytime.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Holly is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
13. App stores
Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for Holly, its support or any claims about it. If you downloaded Holly from the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA terms that apply to you also apply. Apple, App Store and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play and Android are trademarks of Google LLC.
14. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without limiting mandatory consumer protections where you live. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. Questions: hello@joinholly.app.
